Cookie Notice
Last updated: 30 August 2026
This Cookie Notice explains how OneChecked uses cookies and similar technologies on onechecked.com.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your device when you visit a website.
Websites can also use similar browser technologies, such as local storage, to remember information or understand how a website is being used.
UK rules covering cookies generally also apply to these similar technologies.
2. How OneChecked uses cookies
We divide the technologies we use into three categories.
Necessary
Necessary technologies are required for the website to operate or to remember choices that you have explicitly made.
These do not require optional cookie consent.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| onechecked_cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie preferences | 6 months |
Other strictly necessary technologies may be used where required for security, forms or basic website functionality.

PostHog may collect information including:

- browser and device information;
- conversion events such as starting or submitting the early-access form.
Analytics is off by default.
PostHog is only initialised after you choose to allow analytics.

- Website and product analytics
- Status by default:

Implementation note: once the integration is complete, add the actual PostHog cookie/local-storage identifiers used by the production site here.
Advertising
OneChecked does not currently use advertising cookies.
We may introduce advertising measurement technologies, such as Google Ads conversion tracking, as we begin running advertising campaigns.
If we do, advertising technologies will remain off by default and will only be enabled where you have consented to advertising cookies.
We will update this notice when these technologies are introduced.
3. Your choices
When you first visit OneChecked, you can:
Accept all — enables optional analytics and advertising technologies.
Reject optional — leaves optional technologies disabled.
Manage preferences — allows you to choose individually whether analytics and advertising technologies may be used.
Necessary technologies cannot be disabled where they are required for the website to work or to remember your privacy preferences.
4. Changing your mind
You can change your choices at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the footer of the OneChecked website.
Withdrawing consent will prevent the relevant optional technologies from being used in future.
5. PostHog
We use PostHog to help us understand how OneChecked is used and how visitors move through our website.
We have configured OneChecked so that PostHog does not initialise until analytics consent has been provided.
For more information about how we process personal information collected through analytics, see our Privacy Notice.
6. Changes to this notice
We may update this Cookie Notice if we change the technologies or service providers used by OneChecked.
The latest version will always be published on this page.
